Page updated

Two 2026 bills would have capped what a commercially insured Minnesotan pays for a seizure medicine at $25 a month. Pick one of the twenty most prescribed seizure medicines, or one of five costly brands, and a point in the plan year to see what the twelve most-enrolled Minnesota individual-market plans charge today and what they would charge with the cap. On some plans the cap takes hundreds of dollars off the month. On others the medicine is missing from the plan's drug list, and a cap on cost sharing does not reach it.
